Color Me Mine!

For the last couple of weeks Adam and I have been saying that we needed to go out on a date and do something fun.  Well, last Saturday after a very long day at a dance competition we decided to make the most of our evening.  We ended up going to Color Me Mine in Provo and we had a blast!  We spent almost 4 hours there just painting and hanging out.  Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me so I could only take pictures with my phone.  They aren't the best quality but they will have to do...  Enjoy!

Adam of course picked a motorcycle :)

And I picked a tower of pigs to help me save all my change!
And I needed lots and lots of purple!

My pretty much finish project...

Adam painting.

Adam still painting...

And finally done!

We went a week later and picked up our completely finished masterpieces!

Happy Birthday!!!

Julie and I were born three years and three days apart.  Almost every year growing up we have had our birthday parties together.  A tradition I'll admit I wasn't so fond of growing up but now I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love our parties!  I love sharing a birthday cake and making wishes together!  We had a blast yesterday!  It was such a nice day to play with the kids outside and hang with the family!!!

Heber and Jordyn playing in the sand box!
Mom and Jordyn playing on the playground.  I think they were going to Candy Land :)

Adam giving one of the kids an under-doggie!

Make a wish!

Please ignore the belly...

Happy Birthday to us!

Heber loves ice cream cones!  I'm not sure why he is eating it with a fork though :)

Cheese!!!

And here is Jordyn holding baby Houston.  He turned 3 months old on Sunday.  He is doing so much better and as you can see he doesn't miss a meal.  We love him so much!!!  And Jordyn is such a good cousin!  She is constantly asking me if my baby is moving and if she can feel him.  And she loves asking me what we are going to call him.  :)

Things to get excited about...

Its finally March!!!  That makes me so happy!  I hate January.  It is such a depressing month.  But March brings warm weather and spring!  It also brings my birthday which means our annual family hot dog roast.  I look forward to it every year!

Something else to get excited about...

Oh these eggs are so so good!  My mom used to buy them and hide them from all us girls.  She got us all addicted!  This time of year is when we finally get our eggs again.

And finally... We are getting ready and excited for our little guy!  Only 15 more weeks!  Adam's wonderful family have been so sweet and given us a ton of stuff to get ready.  We still have a bit of organizing to do, as you can see, but we are in the process and couldn't have done it without them!  The crib and changing table were Raquel's and The Taylor's gave us a brand new crib mattress!  Adam's parents bought the swing for us for Christmas and the dresser we got from Nicole.  As you can see it is already loaded with a ton of super cute clothes and my favorite... SHOES!!!  We have been super spoiled and are so grateful for it!

I love this time of year!  Warm weather, good food, and lots to look forward too!

Update on Houston

For those of you who are wondering and worrying about Baby Houston he has been moved to the Provo hospital so that they can help him with his breathing better and keep him better monitored.  His lungs are very junky and they have been giving him breathing treatments to help open them up more.  Last night they started giving him formula in his feeding tube which is good.  He is starting to have a little bit of an appetite.  All in all it is just a waiting game.  He will probably finish out the week there at the hospital but he is slowly improving.  Julie and Jesse are hanging in there and missing Heber.  Its hard watching a baby suffer but the Lord has been blessing their little family.  Thank you for your thoughts and your prayers.

Happy Birthday Adam!

Adam turned 26 yesterday!  He was spoiled and had the day off from work.  His sister's took him to lunch and then we spent the rest of the day with Baby Houston at the hospital.  We did have a little party for him at my Mom's house on Sunday though.  Here's a few pics!

Almond Joy's have nuts... Mounds don't.

We have Almond Joys!!!
We had a very fun day yesterday learning the gender of our little bundle of joy! Its a boy!!!  He wasn't shy that's for sure!  :)  He was however quite a bit bashful about showing us his cute face.  We are going back in a month for another ultrasound so we can try to see his face and his heart better.  The little stinker was turned really funny in there and wouldn't roll around for us.  But he was very wiggly!!  What a fun day we had going around telling all our families!  We visited my mom at work, delivered blue balloons to my sisters, and went to lunch with Adam's family.  It was such a great day!  We are so excited!  Although we would have been excited either way.  I thought for sure we were having a girl.  I dreamed about it all night long.  And I couldn't get pink balloons out of my head.  What a shock it was for us.  Having a boy was a bit against the odds.  Adam comes from a family with all girls and so do I!  He was so excited to learn that the Holdaway name lives on!  We couldn't be more thrilled!!!
